Fredrik Korallus
Title: Executive Vice President, Global Revenue Generation
Carlson Hotels

Fredrik Korallus, executive vice president of Global Revenue Generation for Carlson Hotels, is responsible for the global functions of marketing, sales and distribution for Carlson Hotels, providing functional leadership in these areas across the system. In this role, Korallus leads the Global Revenue Council and is a member of Carlson Hotels Global Steering Committee. He is also responsible for revenue generation in the Americas, supporting Thorsten Kirschke, executive vice president and chief operating officer for Carlson Hotels, The Americas.
 
His key priorities include supporting the growth plans of Carlson Hotels' major brands around the world, optimizing Carlson's sales efforts across the key segments, and boosting Internet sales and digital marketing effectiveness. He is also focused on optimizing the performance of Carlson's loyalty program goldpoints plusSM and the effectiveness of its global distribution system.
 
Korallus has broad global experience in the hotel industry, having served in leadership positions in Carlson Hotel brands in Asia, Europe and the United States. Most recently he served as executive vice president and chief operating officer for Radisson. Prior to that, Korallus was executive vice president of Revenue Generation for Carlson Hotels, The Americas. Before joining Carlson Hotels, he served as senior vice president for Future Openings and Franchise Operations at The Rezidor Hotel Group, Carlson's largest partner in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Other positions he has held within Rezidor include senior vice president and chief operating officer of Park Inn hotels, leading a period of aggressive expansion of this brand in EMEA, and senior vice president of sales and marketing for Rezidor.
 
Korallus also served in various other executive sales and marketing positions with Radisson Hotel operations in Asia, the United Kingdom and Washington, D.C. In other experience, he successfully engineered a management buy-in and turnaround of the Hotel and Catering Training Company (HCTC), the U.K.'s largest training provider serving the hospitality and leisure industries.
 
He serves on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota International Center in Minneapolis. Born in Gothenburg, Sweden, Korallus has a degree in hotel catering and institutional management from Thames University in London.
